Ernista Worrell, LMSW
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns that don’t make sense, or unsure how to manage what you’re experiencing day to day, it can be hard to know where to start. I work with children, adolescents, and adults across Tennessee through virtual therapy to help you better understand your emotions, strengthen coping skills, and create a greater sense of stability.

Offering virtual therapy in Tennessee for children, teens, and adults.
Together, we look at both what you’re feeling and why those patterns may be showing up. From there, we focus on practical tools and intentional steps that support real, lasting change so you can move forward with more clarity, confidence, and emotional balance.
My Approach to Therapy
My approach to therapy is both reflective and practical, combining insight with tools you can use in your daily life.
I integrate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), along with traditional talk therapy. I also incorporate grounding strategies to help regulate the nervous system and support emotional balance in the moment.
Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, so each session is tailored to your needs, your goals, and your pace.
Whether we are working through ongoing stress, emotional overwhelm, or long-standing patterns, my goal is to help you better understand your experiences while building the skills needed to respond to them with intention and confidence.

My work focuses on:
-
Building effective coping skills for managing stress, anxiety, and daily challenges
-
Strengthening emotional regulation and resilience
-
Increasing self-awareness and understanding patterns in thoughts and behaviors
-
Creating practical, intentional steps toward meaningful change
-
Helping you make sense of what you’re feeling and why
-
Restoring a sense of balance, stability, and confidence in your day-to-day life
